Biography

 

   Let me introduce myself – Kharitonova Elena – President of Hairless Dog National Club from 1999 to 2004, from 2004 HDNC Vice-President, owner of kennel “Harmeks”. Except high economic education (State University of Management) I have a special education – selective kynolog (Moscow State Veterinary Academy). I’ve bred xolo from 1995 and chihuahua from 1999. I have more than 20 three sizes adult xolos (28 to 60 cm). Also I imported standard size xolos (male and female) – grandpuppies of multichampion Hermoso Hank (kennel “Caliente”) from Mexico in 1999.

Kennel “Harmeks” – number one in Russia, which has the best full-blooded Mexican xolo. Till 1999 there are only xolos from Cuba in Russia. I take part in World and Europe Dog Shows with my xolo from 1998. I’ve bred Interchampion, 9 Russia Ch., 2 Bulgaria Ch., 2 Lithuania Ch., Ukraine Ch., 8 National Club Ch., World Vice-champion, Europe Vice-champion, 2 Bundessieger. Xolos from “Harmeks”, living in Austria, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, Baltic Sea countries, became titleholders there. Kennel “Harmeks” has rare co lour xolos: red and “dalmatian”.

Knowing a few foreign languages, I translate the articles about hairless dogs from the foreign editions, and write a lot of articles for Russian kynological editions from 1996. I published two handbooks and the full-coloured book “The hairless dogs”. Also I take part in many TV programmes with my xolo.
